I feel if I returned home as an adult it would not be consistent with how I was raised. You provide for your family, you step out of your comfort zone, you raise your kids to experience life outside of what you had at their age, and then you visit grandparents and parents for vacations often and at holidays. I personally feel my sons are more well rounded with this than my sisters kids who have always lived 10-15 minutes from grandparents. And the economic factor or staying near home yet making less to provide for your family to do that, just seems counterproductive long term.
