compete quite well with these restrictions. In fact, the honor code and BYU's uniqueness is not all downside. There is a significant advantage in being as different as we are. We get very good LDS athletes every year, and that pipeline is never going to dry up. We'd like to get more of the top LDS guys and also more like-minded non-LDS athletes, but we already do pretty well.
As a reminder, BYU has been one of the most consistently winning teams in all of college football. We're not an elite program, but we're a very solid one with a history that a good many P5 programs (and every single last G5 program) would love to have.
