You are right, he didn't win a championship just player of the year

I am discounting Kareem some just because he played in an era with much less talent (imo) and where talent was all stacked on two teams even more than it is now. Of course that is all subjective. I don't think Kareem is far off of that level anyway so I don't have much disagreement with including him.
