I just keep seeing realtors saying on average you make more money selling
through a realtor than on your own, but how much of that is because of the MLS monopoly? I would argue a lot.

3% is a pretty outrageous fee to pay to a buyers agent, especially when you’re just buying a new construction from a builder, that number is going to plummet.

I’d rather just educate myself and pay an attorney $1k to look over the contracts. And I’d sell my home myself if I had access to the MLS.
