I’ve seen a number of comments where they say that the fee won’t be put into the MLS any longer, but it will remain essentially the same, and will just be an agreement between selling agent and buying agent.

I’ve also seen people saying that they will charge the same fee as a buying agent, meaning, 3%, and they will just have it built into the loan. That one’s head scratcher for me because I don’t think a lot of people are going to be on board with financing the realtors fee over 30 years.

I see value in buying agents - they can certainly save a buyer time, frustration and offer some protection. But I do think that they will have a REALLY hard time justifying anything like 2-3% to for working with a buyer. I wonder if a lot of the buyers agent will move to hourly.
