You really think the recent realignment moves by the SEC and B10 weren’t driven
by markets and finances? So we’re expecting UCLA to challenge Michigan and tOSU then? Did adding Texas A&M or Missouri challenge Alabama? Did adding Colorado to the PAC12 add competitive value? Did adding Rutgers and Maryland to the B10 add competitive value?
The Utes are a bit of the exception here because their financial value is driven mostly by their competitive value. But by and large conference realignment has been driven by the almighty dollar.
