Month 2 almost over living witb EV and home charger, 1521 mi driven. $18 spent
So about $800 in savings for vehicle operation in fuel. That's paid for the charger already and is now about 1/4 through my install cost of the home charger. If I had not done any of the extra things that I did during the install, then halfway through next month it would have been paid for in other words in two and a half months it would have broke even on the savings from gas not being paid . Looks like about 2 1/2more months before i break even then I'll save about $415+ a month.
Right now the overall experience is such that for our daily driver/ commuter car I can't see us ever wanted anything else. It will be interesting to see how I feel in 3 years.
