You have to measure at least 50 bpm to donate plasma/blood.
When I used to donate regularly I would do some jumping jacks before they took my measurement otherwise I would be under 50 every time.
A year and a half ago, I was in the hospital for a different issue. So my heart heart was always being measured. They had to change the alarm point because I kept dropping below the minimum alarm point.
