Ruechert would be a tough, tough loss. Chander, however, was never a BYU kid
so I see no justification in the present to make a villain outa Mark Pope.
Like I said — as good of a recruit Ruechert is, I kinda doubt Pope targets him in the future had he not already built huge inroads with him. And even then, he still has to worry about upsetting the recruiting inroads to the same class that his UK people have already made.
If KY & his staff can make solid inroads on Dean & his family (as I expect), I can see Pope pulling out of that recruiting fray more & more as the year goes on.

If Pope keeps a heavy eye on Utah — or on BYU's interests — while at UK... he won't last two years there.

I'm not sold Pope will value them all that much. He risks a lot of criticism if they don't pan out for him at UK.

Ruechert probably will be a target by Pope, yes. I don't see Pope eyeing Utah recruiting much beyond that, though.
