Here's why I think it's different and Young "should" do better than others...
1. He did coach college ball before, just at a lower level.
2. His brother is a major recruiting guru and will help him, or what is likely, recommend people he can hire on his staff.
3. I think his assistants will be major helps in this area. I'm hoping for Burgess, who is a great recruiter for example.
4. BYU is a bit different than other schools.

You are correct. But there are a tone of things unique to BYU that make this hire better than the average NBA guy
