Here is my rebuttal on how all of those are different
Dunleavy was on his way out as an NBA coach and gave college a last chance. He was done
Mullin should have never been given the job.
Eddie Jordan was never successful in the NBA and he was not in college.
Avery Johnson: See Eddie Jordan
Juwan Howard: he started off successful
Jerry Stackhouse: Vanderbilt

Kevin Young is just starting to hit his stride.

The first four guys gave college a shot as a "last chance" type thing. Howard was successful to start but he was emotionally a train wreck off the court and it finally caught up to him on the court. Stackhouse....well he was never a premiere NBA assistant and it would have been interesting had he gone to an actual basketball school.
