BYU has made them both NIL offers, and both are still looking. It just feels dirty and it's why I'm so ready to just move on from both of them at this point. I really hope we offer their NIL packages to someone else at this point; I want people who want to be here now not to see if they can get any better offer than then maybe BYU if the better offer doesn't come.

And for the record, I've chased money in my career before, and every time I have done it, it has been a massive disaster for my family and me. I can say that 3 times I chanced money... 1 time, I was laid off in less than a year; in all 3 instances, the work really sucked. Another time the company made me a ton of promises, none of which they kept and then they tired to force me and my family into a relocation and thus they made life a living heck for me.

And the last time I chased money, I was told that they were going to make me a manager lead, I just had to get past a 3 month contract period... after 2 months they told me that they are super excited to have me on board but they could no longer offer me the manager lead position because the company was in a hiring freeze and thus I had to work under contract for over a year. Chasing money has not done me any favors at all, ever.
