You just made a great case for the grid system.

Unfortunately SS/EM isn't as flat and wide open as Orem/Provo. SS is long and skinny, and a big chunk of land in the middle is still privately owned (the remaining church farms). The long range plans will improve things, but that will only happen as fast as money will allow.
