I once spoke with an endocrinologist who said they trust the CGM data over the A1c, for whatever that’s worth.
Their reasoning is that the continuous glucose monitor is pulling actual glucose levels and the A1c is estimating it based on a secondary marker. There are a lot of factors that can inflate or deflate the A1c other than the glucose control.
