HR question - is it considered discrimination if company is allowing
Employees to work from home, but others are expected to be in the office when both jobs are online with clients?

What is the trend here especially with what Covid did with work from home.

Son is not getting a promotion because they want him in the office more where some of his co workers have moved out of the city and will never go to the office.

Would like to know the trends or arguments here for his meeting with boss and VP. TIA
