Utah got Isaac Because They Recruited Him Better Than BYU
While Mike Wilson played football at Utah, the family wanted, as did Isaac, to play college football locally. BYU knew this and their effort to make him wanted was pathetic. His brother was a qb at BYU. If BYU showed genuine interest in Isaac and they did so better than Utah, then Isaac would be a Cougar. Utah landed Isaac because they recruited him and made him feel wanted. How good is Isaac? He will back up the starter as a freshman.
