Karen type of patients and many times absolutely rude and unreasonably demanding patients, I would say they are underpaid (not to mention the litigious society we live in).

There is a reason medicine is anticipating seeing a large shortfall in primary care doctors, emergency medicine doctors, and specialists in many fields. Many of those providers are getting burned out by the system and the drain it is mentally. There gets to be a point the money just isn't worth it anymore.
