I'm always perplexed as to why they don't create more passive hunting/trapping opportunities. It seems to me that you would want to set up a combination of a gill net, deadfall traps, and traps using snare wire that would be 'hunting' while you were sleeping. Very few contestants set up more than a handful of these. Am I missing something or wouldn't dozens of them be better than just a few?

For me, 3 days would be about right for the over/under on how long I would make it. I'm great at being critical of their efforts from the couch but wouldn't make it long myself.
