Play in that system then I completely understand. I doubt the coaches told him he wasn't going to get any playing time. IMO, more than likely he saw the system that the coaches were planning on and saw the recruits they were trying to get and thought the room was going to be too crowded. No shame in looking elsewhere. I also don't doubt that this staff is willing to honor every promise Pope made to him
