I have seen how bad it gets for many many people. It's real, that is not what I am asking.
WHY is anxiety more common, or at least more commonly impactful today than 50 or 100 or 1000 years ago?
Did people 100 or 1000 years have less anxiety? Or it just didn't impact them as much?
Did more anxious people just die before, and so the perception is that there was less anxiety?
Or was it that there were lots of ways to really die and really be anxious about, so there was actually more anxiety.. (i.e. the difference is now that many people DON'T have anxiety anymore, whereas 100 or 1000 years EVERYONE was anxious so you didn't see the difference between anxious and non-anxious)
It's it a diagnosis thing ... just as many people were anxious before, but they were not diagnosed with it?
