I'm only 47 so hopefully a long ways from death, but I already appreciate
the blessing of going fast. My dad and FIL dropped dead of heart attacks. My FIL was only 75 or 76 and appeared healthy if a little overweight. My dad was 80. I'll take that over lingering for months or years and being a burden on my kids. Glad your FIL's travail is over.
