Once the mind goes (full blown dementia) I would rather die. The motor function
Ones would be the hardest to deal with but perhaps you get solace in seeing or participating in some of life’s events (kid sports, weddings, time with family)

But obviously those are more likely to rob you of your years.

It all comes down to age for me. Anything over 70 is a full life to me at this point. Over 80 and it just it what it is at that point. Then it’s just hoping you die on time and as quickly as possible

But no question I dread ALS over anything else
