I agree in situations like that, and then you have Baltimore, where traffic isn’t moving and you get stuck in an
Intersection despite having plenty of time to get through said intersection. I ended up getting a fine for running a red light from the camera. It was only $30, but I was more irritated because of the timings of the lights were off at the next intersection and got me stuck.
For things like protecting others going through intersections, I am somewhat hesitantly supportive of things like that.

For me its the 2-3 cars that continue to make their left turn after the light is red (1 car makes sense)
