Question about a possible malpractice lawsuit
Need advice on if it would be worth our time to pursue a malpractice suit in Florida.

My wife was visiting a friend who was having a baby. While at the hospital, she left the room for a minute, passed out, and landed on her left side, face down. The hospital where she was at didn't have a trauma center, and as she had obvious head trauma, they transported her to a different hospital down the road. The physician who saw her did multiple X-rays and a CT. They said she broke her jaw, but she could wait until she got home at the end of the week to see an oral surgeon. She also complained that her arm was very sore, but they said there was no break and it was probably muscular, and she should use her arm so it didn't cause muscle damage. We followed up with a local orthopedic doctor who took his own x-rays and saw a break near her elbow in the radial bone. The doctor said that she may not get the mobility back had they immobilized the arm right away.

Would it be worth it to retain a lawyer in this situation?
