I switch my idea of “progress” from a number on the scale to something different. Here are some options:
-Inches lost
-Dropping a size in your jeans
-Clothes fitting better
-Receiving compliments
-Feeling better in your skin
-Liking how you look in photos
-Feeling more comfortable in a bathing suit
I have actually gained weight overall and it turns out I’m losing fat but also gaining muscle (at times).
