if you're going to rant. Most T.V. contracts are not in jeopardy based on one or two bad seasons. Three or four in row? Yes. Two bad seasons in a row? Not even close.

I knew someone would bring up the Arizona situation. It's entirely different. Arizona hasn't won a game yet. They've been completely blown out of every game this year except last week. The players can't stand the coach and they have quit on him. Regardless of whether the players were right about their grievances with the coach, he had lost control and his firing was the only thing that could be done.

Have you watched BYU's games this year? I haven't seen them quit (except for one play in the USC game and one last week - both were rushes by the opponent for good yardage after BYU had turned the ball over deep in our own territory and the game was out of reach). Last week, they even recovered and gave full effort the next four plays. Gary Crowton has not lost control of this team and they haven't quit.
