One of the worst things you can do for a program is to keep revolving head coaches. It really takes 3-4 years to see waht a coach can do with his wond system and at BYU maybe longer due to the mission factor.
If we fired Crowton, we would be resigning ourselves to another 3-4 years of growing into a new system. I thing a better solution is to change Coordinators and line coaches on the offense. See how Bronco changed the D?
I don't think Crowton is the problem right now even though I have questioned some of his play calling. I think we need new o-line coaches and maybe a offensive coordinator who will take the play calling away from Gary. I think Gary brings too much to the program to let go. He has recruited well and I have liked his coaching hires to this point. I think we need a change with offensive coaches, but that may be a youth issue and not the coaches. I am not close enought to KNOW.
