Bosco didn't call any plays Crowtons first year. Crowton called all of the plays and if he let any coach call a few plays, it would have been his offensive coordinator (Mike Borich).
You say that Staley and Doman were the reason Crowton had success his first year. I couldn't agree with you more, but they were both very experienced and tremendously talented. Do you honestly believe that Lavell Edwards or Norm Chow would have run the option with those two had they been there? LaVell didn't even insert Doman until the last three games of the year.
Last point: you name one collegiant coach that had success with freshmen quarterbacks in 8 of those eleven losses. So now tell me my rebuttal is weak. I know my facts and you don't.
