I did great the first semester, all tests were based off the reading and workbooks he handed out, nothing off class discussions.

So I took same teacher next semester for part II and never went to class. I just did the reading and the workbooks.

Then came the final and it was all on class discussion.

The only question I'm sure I got right was "In class, I compared Laman and Lemuel to what fruit?" Answer: Lemon.

I got my mission call the next day. Kind of embarrassing to fail Book of Mormon final then go on a mission to teach about it. My homework brought the final grade up to a D+.
