Just texting with my cousin at Utah

he's a good kid, not a BYU hater or anything, but a die hard U of U fan. We were just talking about the BYU Utah game this year and he said a lot of fans at Utah are talking about how they're going to show BYU this year just how "classless" they are. He said people are talking about pouring beer on BYU fans as a response to the Max Hall thing (oh, the irony).

He also talked about how when he came to last year's game (dressed in red) and sat in the student section, he didn't have any problems, but said that Utah's student section gets really nasty to visiting Y fans. He said the worst he saw was actually some guy having a bunch of ketchup thrown all over him (which would be worse than beer, imo).

The more evidence I get, the more I suspect that all the talk about Utah's fans being classless is absolutely true. Yeah, there are good fans (like my cousin and seemingly some of the Utes on this board), but the fact that these attitudes are prevalent and allowed/condoned by other Utes is pretty sad.
