Let me add

I have actually defended BYU fans and called out Utah fans for saying things about the religion or using foul language around women and children. I don't see the need to have those things in the context of a sporting event. Unfortunately, society as a whole has an ever changing perspective on the language issue which is not a good thing.

When I was an undergrad, I was walking with a group of my fraternity brothers out of the stadium following a BYU game behind some BYU cheerleaders (male and female). 3 drunk Ute fans walked over to the cheerleaders and started to try to start a fight (this was 96, we had lost badly at home, quite painful... but I digress). We intervened, grabbed the Ute fans, and apologized to the cheerleaders.... so just so you know, I do what I can.
