Players not liking BB players is nothing new
My guess is that you don't hang out with ur source a lot. I use to work in the training room and can tell you that a lot of players don't get along with players from other sports, but guess what? A lot of football players aren't always best friends either. This is nothing new.
I will also admit that the Peck thing is interesting. But I doubt it is as DC, perhaps another position? He does go to BYU a lot and works with players and coaches.
I think the Riley info is biased. My guess Is that ur source is an upper classman who is an RM and supported Riley. Just a guess.
