It's both the articles and the awkward pictures. For example the chick holding the BUD sign with the Miami "U" signal and then her personal hand sign is the "hook 'em horns." That's pretty funny... a serious identity crisis as well as a weird need to have some symbol at the same time.

Also the article commentary is funny, one example:

"A seasoned drinker will tell you that get drunk faster and cheaper by not eating before you drink. While that is true, that will also insure you spend the next day in pain."

Again, socially drinking is one thing, following the stereotype of drinking to get drunk is another, and these articles magnify that stereotype very nicely.
