What you are not taking into account is that
good teams force turn-overs, and Yewtah is pretty good at that. Their defensive scheme and coaching is also pretty awesome. I wish byu would find a place for Staike or he would leave Yewtah. He is the only Yewt I don't hate.
I agree with you that I am not totally sold on their offense, however. In the first half, byu handled them pretty well and I think they are going to have some issues scoring against some PAC defenses. If they can get a running game going like the 2nd half against byu, they should be fine, but not sure they can run that well consistently.
