First off, Utah had made adjustments and was starting
to route BYU in a part of the game where there were no turnovers. The telling statistic is not only the turnovers Utah created, but also all the 3 and outs BYU had (many, many, many, more than Utah).

Second, you do realize that turnovers are part of the game, don't you? I mean you pretend to be a fan, but you really must not even watch football if you don't realize that.

BYU having 7 turnovers is a sign of two things.

Utah making plays on defense, and BYU being soft. One indicates Utah is a good team--at least defensively, one indicates that BYU is a poor team--at least offensively.

So even though without the turnovers Utah wins, why are you even looking at that. Turnovers are part of the game. Good teams do not perform like BYU did, they perform like Utah did. Anything else is just making excuses.

BYU is really, really, really bad and will only be saved by the crap schedule they have the rest of the way. You'll get 9 or 10 wins, in fact you will probably end with more wins than Utah.

You are playing an FCS schedule, and will reap the rewards. Heaps will be hyped again, and all will be great until next year when he actually has to perform against a team with a pulse.

End of the day, scoreboard is 44 points difference, no excuses you make will change that.

Utah absolutely pounded BYU.

Call Utah mediocre, sure. But they are a lot better than BYU.

BYU has won 3 games against Utah in the last 10 years.

I am sure Utah winning 70% of the time was just a fluke as well.

Carry on, all is well. Heaps will win the Heisman soon, and I am sure BYU will win multiple national titles under Bronco's watch.
