No one who watched that game would
say that turnovers were the reason for the loss.
They would say the turnovers were why the game snowballed and turned into a blowout, sure.
But Utah was clearly the better team with or without turnovers.
If you disagree, answer me this. If BYU was a better team, why did Utah have a 24-10 lead when the turnover margin was close? Why to that point in the game had Utah only punted once, while BYU had punted 4 times?
