in the race for Big12 membership. That is very clear, but no decision has been made and it sounds like there are other balls in the air as well. Don't be blind to the fact that other options are viable. They are. Going east for WV does seem logical actually. Don't just give credibility to the one you like because they say what you want to hear.

This is far from over and BYU is also very likely far from out of the picture. i.e. my guess is that BYU has a great shot, given how long they have been talking, but who really knows?

You will notice that the very next post, however, says they thought BYU was out after WV was invited. Don't know why one annonomous poster on their board is more credible than another. It's like the massively varying opinions on this board relative to every topic.

I am a Ute who hopes BYU gets into the Big12. At this point, I think it's clear they need a conference. The Big12 would be a nice fit for them as well, imo.
