Clearly you have not been reading this board's obsession with BYU's position in college football and its possible affiliations since Utah's announcement. It's a valid topic of concern. The leap from the MWC was rash--a short-term gain in money and exposure and an utterly uncertain future. The top four conferences are tying up the championship and each others' schedules. The super league is forming and a bunch of AQ teams are about to fall out. A couple conferences' worth of seats are being pulled from the game of musical chairs. If a top level program is BYU's goal, it has to do something in a hurry.
