They aren't flushing it........
In the 100+ seasons of the rivalry the results are 55-34-4 in favor or Utah.
Do the math and see that in 100 plus seasons of rivalry football, there has been fewer then 100+ games played between the schools.
i.e. this has happened before and the games will also be played in the future. It's not being flushed by anyone. The only bread right now is 2014-15, due to Michigan. Then we will see.
So, Utah is afraid of BYU but not Michigan or Ohio State?
Utah does not play the equivalent of Idaho or New Mexico St. except for maybe one game.
If BYU had Utah's schedule they would rethink things too.
