Give 'em a break. I wish it would have turned out differently, but in the end, Riley played his guts out for BYU
and Heaps is a great kid who deserves every success. Both are advocates of BYU.
We should treat our own better. I understand during a game being frustrated with an athlete. That's different. But BYU fans in general making the "legacy" of these former BYU student athletes be about their failures instead of their successes is sad. And I mean "sad" in the real sense of the word--not sarcasm. It is genuinely sad that our own true blue fan base "treats" many former BYU athletes so poorly, almost as a habit.
