My first car was a 1965 Pontiac Tempest that my grandfather gave me when my grandmother died. I was very fond of that car, but by today's standards, it was like a horse and buggy. It had nothing. 326, 3 speed auto transmission, AM radio, crank windows with a corner flip out vent window, vinyl bench seats (great for dates...when I had them), and heater with a 3 speed fan. That was it, and it was great. I sure miss those days sometimes.
