That's because no one calls it the eiffel tower in Vegas.
They call it the Paris Casino. There is no ambiguity. Now if there was a Paris Casino in Mesquite4 and On in Las Vegas then people would need some way to differentiate. Byu-I and BYU-P are the same type of institution, are located within a fairly close proximity to each other, are both discussed regularly and often in the same conversations between the same people.
