I've watched Jazz games since I was old enough to watch TV. I never remember the announcers or studio heads gushing about Utah like they did last night and today. Everyone is talking about that crowd. They love this team. This team is so fun to watch and cheer for. It doesn't diminish the quality of past teams.

You might have 10 kids and several of your kids were stars in sports and put up big points and big games in meaningful moments. But you might fondly remember a point where one of your kids, who wasn't as dominant as his brothers and sisters, had a game that you enjoyed with every fiber of your body. It might not have even been a championship game. It could have been a...wait for it...first round game.

It's ok to enjoy stuff and acknowledge that other things influence crowd enjoyment beyond record or championships.
