That's a load of bull honky. Nobody ever thought Boozer was close to Malone. If anything, we hated him for his terrible
defense, constant injuries, and shouting "and 1" every time he attempted a layup. As a lifelong Jazz fan who is surrounded by tons of Jazz fans, nobody ever thought they were in the same discussion.
Also, the post you linked talked about personalities. You honestly think that D Will (known butthole), Boozer, Kirilenko (Russian), CJ Miles, Korver, etc... were anything like DM, Rudy, Ingles, etc...? The likability factor is 10 times what is was during the DWill/Boozer days.
