Chipotle just seems to have better, fresher ingredients.
Although I think even Chipotle has slipped a bit recently.
Cafe Rio is more like slop (albeit yummy slop). I don’t ever choose to go there but I’m always willing to go if someone else wants to.
My biggest beef with Cafe Rio probably isn't the food, it’s how slow the line moves. I can’t believe they haven’t learned to be more efficient after all these years.

I like Cafe Rio, not great food, but good food. Used to be better, it has gone down hill. But...it is NOT Mexican food.
