I was an advisor in the Priest Quorum and the kid was such a great kid. No visible ego. Totally willing to help do sacrament to shut-ins, pitch in on fast offerings when Deacons were understaffed (almost always) and generally volunteer for anything that needed help.
I should have found some way to win him over, but I failed to plant the right seeds as I tought lessons or helped with activities. I should have found the right angle, but I didn't. The U got a great person in Chase Hansen (from everything that I saw).
