Pretty stupid quote for a number of reasons
1. Taysom was a below average passer for us. If we weren't running him he wouldn't have been an effective QB at all. Almost all running QBs in college run a zone read. Taysom had no reason to be any different.
2. Taysom's injuries didn't happen because of the zone read.
3. Taysom is being used in a similar way right now in the pros. So to say he is having success now because of a better OC who is using him in a similar way as the college OC is just silly.
