Taysom and the offense missed it. He was a freshman and if memory serves, it was either his first or second game with real playing time. The papers all had quotes afterwards that clearly stated the victory formation was called, but that Taysom didn't see (or maybe understand) the signals being sent in, so he ran one more play calling his own number.

I am not a fan at all about how Doman managed the offense or his QBs, but I don't think this first injury can be blamed on him. It was just one of those things that happens in a football game
