How much is it worth to pay to clean the engine bay in a car you are selling? Does it make a difference in sale price?

Detailer quoted me $85 which seems like a lot, but I’m probably not going to do it myself now with my work level

Go buy a can of Gunk and DIY. Stuff works great.

You can use the Gunk engine degreaser but that leaves a pretty strong smell. I prefer Simple Green

I don't. Never had an issue. I try to keep full pressure spray away from the fuse box.
