That’s fair. But my entire take is not about just “waiting to get into the club”
I’d rather we build the program to be able to handle 8-9 P5 games a year, and reach the top 25 regularly. Then, if, like you say, we never get in a P5 conference, it doesn’t matter. We still play the best college football programs.
Sounds like we just differ on who we want to play, regardless of if we ever get in a P5 conference or not.
